Ground Sumac

Sumac is used as a spice in Arabic, Persian, and Lebanese cuisine to add a tart, sour lemony taste. Used in the spice mixture za’atar. Used as a rub for grilled meats or kebabs; as a flavoring in soups & stews, sprinkled on fish, chicken, vegetables and rice dishes; added to salad dressings, marinades, casseroles, dips; and many other dishes for additional sour lemony taste.
