Goldenseal Root (Hydrastis canadensis L.)

Goldenseal root has an earthy, bitter flavor best known for its ability to enhance seasonal resistance. Used for allergies, colds, and the flu, canker sores and other irritations to the mucous membranes of the mouth. It drives toxins from the body, help purify the kidneys and urinary tract.*
To make Tea: Pour 1 cup boiling water over 1tsp root, cover and steep 15-20minutes. Strain, sweeten with honey or sugar to taste, if desired & drink.
