Tumeric leaves (Haldi leaves) are used extensively as aromatic herbs, contain curcumin similar to root, a powerful antioxidant.

Turmeric leaves are used in Ayurvedic medicine, and has strong anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties, improve digestion and reduce gas and bloating.

Dried turmeric leaves are soaked and the extract is used as food coloring and as a basic ingredient in curry dishes.To make tea: Steep 1tsp leaf in hot water for 5-7 minutes, strain and drink.
