Shikakai (Acacia Concinna), Powder

Shikakai is a fruit pod, known best to use in hair care. It effectively cleanses the scalp and hair, alleviate dryness and dandruff, nourishes hair, promote healthy hair growth. Shikakai add shine to the hair and make hair softer.*

*Shikakai powder usage: Stir a few tablespoon of Shikakai powder (may also add amla, and or neem powder) into enough water to make a paste. Let it stand for 10-15 minutes, apply the paste to your hair and leave on for 30 minutes, then wash thoroughly with water. If you find the shikakai paste hard to rinse, you can use diluted conditioner or coconut oil to loosen.
