Black Peppercorn Tellicherry

Tellicherry Peppercorn, also known as special extra bold peppercorns, grows on the Malabar Coast of Kerala, southwest of India. The Tellicherry black peppercorn doesn’t refer to the place of origin but rather the size. Tellicherry peppercorns are larger than regular black peppercorns. Piper nigrum, the peppercorn plant, is grown in tropical climates around the world. Tellicherry peppercorns are the largest berries that grow in the same exact vine Malabar peppercorn (the smaller berries) are grown.
