Comes from the grinding of dried Red Anaheim Chiles that are a matured green Anaheim Chile, and has a deep burnt red color. This chili powder is mild, accompanied by a sweet flavor and in heat ranging from a 2-3 on a heat scale of 1-10 and 1,000 to 2,000 in scoville heat unit.
