Turmeric Powder, For Herbal Tea

Turmeric (Alleppey Type) is a popular spice made from the rhizome or root of the Curcuma longa plant. Used as an herbal remedy for its active ingredient ‘curcumin 4-5%. It is proven to have anti-inflammatory, antiviral, antibacterial and immune-boosting properties.*

To make Turmeric Tea: Add 1 to 2 tsp powder with 1/4tsp ginger powder to 4 cups of boling water, add ½ cup milk, almond milk, coconut milk to help with absorption, simmer for 5-10 min., strain, add honey to taste, stir, cool, and drink.
