Suhaga (Tankan Bhasma/ Calcined Borax)

Suhaga / Tankan Bhasma, a crystallized powder and an ayurvedic-calcined formulation prepared from borax, that is formed in sediment deposits in lakes of Tibet and Persia. In ayurveda, Suhaga is used for productive cough, breathing problems, wheezing, bronchitis, abdominal pain, dysmenorrhea, dandruff, bad breath and foul-smelling urine.

Doses: Add 1/2 to1 teaspoon honey, take it preferably in the morning to get rid of cough and sore throat. Long-term use (more than 4 weeks) is not advisable.
