Soapwort Root Powder (Saponaria officinalis)

Soapwort root yields high concentration of saponins, used in herbal medicines and for making soaps. In Middle East Soapwort is used in the manufacture of sweet called halvah. Soapwort a great aid to respiratory system, treat infections from colds and even pneumonia.*

To make Tea: Put 1tsp root powder in a cup of boiling water, cover and let steep for 2-4 minutes. Strain & add a natural sweetener to taste.
