Menthol Crystals, obtained from steam distilled 'Mentha Arvensis' (wild mint), has cooling, refreshing and pleasantly peppermint aroma. It is insoluble in water and glycerin, and soluble in alcohol and essential oils.

Mostly used for its analgesic, cooling and refreshing effect. As an analgesic it relieves muscle pains, stimulate the nerves in the skin, clear up coughing and breathing problems. As the soothing fragrance can provide relief to stress, anxiety and nervousness. *

It is also widely used in the confectionery and flavoring industries.
