Malva Nut/ Pang Da Hai (sterculia lychnophora)

Malva Nut is used in traditional Chinese medicine as a coolant and it also used for gastrointestinal disorders. Used for soothing sore throat, help rid the lungs & respiratory tract of excess fluid & mucus, soothe irritation & inflammation of the mucous membranes, bronchitis & hacking cough.*

To make Tea: Soak 2 to 3 pieces in boiling water mixing with sugar candy, red date, liquorice, chrysanthemun flower, and jasmine tea. Sip throughout the day, can be re-steeped.Dried seeds swells to eight times when soaked.
